SALOMON W e had to wait a bit to see the first new products from Salomon Forces brand. The ultimate novelty was the XA FORCES Mid, based around old proven XA Pro 3D hiking boot (which was also available in Forces, but now it is discontinued), but more rugged and more durable with some impro- vements in the design. Legacy boot was lightweight and ultra-comforta- ble, but not durable enough for tactical environment. The another addition is X ALP, lightweight mountaineering boot. REVMED A nother take on the com- bat tourniquets. The TX2 and TX3 features the ratchet- -type buckle instead of clas- sic windlass. Looks like pretty easy in use. TX2 is 2" wide and the TX3 is 3" wide. SAM XT E ngineered for rapid application, SAM XT's innovative design nor- malizes the number of windlass turns needed compared to traditional tour- niquets, enabling an easier, faster tra- ining of the product and intuitive use. Looks easier to deploy than CAT and SOFTT-W tourniquets, but still doesn't . TPG MEDICAL Q uite simple, but pretty intriguing individual first aid kits with smart medical insert. Very compact and low-profile. TRADE SHOW
