About nearly two years ago, when
I was reading an article in an American
magazine, covering the issue of veter-
ans injured while serving in Iraq and
Afghanistan, I found out about trau-
matic brain injuries (TBIs). The article
focused on the broad spectrum of
disorders caused by this type of inju-
ries. It mentioned problems with motor
skills, memory, psyche, concentration,
speech, vision, and co-occurrence
of post-traumatic stress disorders
(PTSDs).
