GLOCK I WA and Enforce Tac 2018 were a place of European premiere of crossover Glock 19X (see this issue for more details) and another ad- ditions to 5th Generation family: Glock 34 MOS and Glock 26. HECKLER & KOCH The most interesting part of the H&K offer was only shown during the Enforce Tac. The HK433 assault rifle is a proposal for System Sturmgewehr Bundeswehr program for G36 replacement. The prototype version no. 4 pictured has G36-style lower receiver for easier transition from the current firearms system. It was shown with 11" and 14.5" barrels which are required by Bundeswehr. In the next version, the ambidextrous charging handle will be moved backwards, so it won't collide with laser pointers or weaponlights attached to the handguard. Changing the sides of charging handle will be more difficult than it is now, because H&K wants to prevent against accidental fall out. It should be noticed, that recently only the competitors left in SSB are H&K and CG Haenel with MK 556, as the SIG Sauer and Steyr/Rheinmetall bailed out. G95 is the latest assault rifle of the German special forces units (KSK and KSM), chosen to replace the G36 in October 2017. Known also as Hk416A7 it features 14.5 barrel with foldable front sight located on the barrel and gas regulator in front of the handguard. But the most interesting part is the G36-style lower receiver with 45 degree fire control group instead of 90 degree as in standard Hk416s. Both G95 and HK433 were shown with third generation of polymer HK STANAG magazines with inspection windows on the back and sides. TRADE SHOW
