At first glance, the set up shown here is not much dif- ferent than the one presented before and basically, that's true, because the idea behind is usually the same and only the manufacturers of the particular items are different. The true difference is the overall weight of the whole kit and the way the parts are made. The kit is presented with different handgun now and with some additional pieces. This first line gear set works best for us, but you can easily tune it for your own needs and requirements. That's how the modularity works! The load out presented below is 100% manufactured by Ginger's Tactical Gear and it's overall weight is smaller than the similar products from other companies. Each item has a totally streamlined de- sign and the lightest possible materials were used. But still, all the gear is rugged engouh to whitstand serious use. The kit pictured was used for few months to find its pros and cons. As far as we know, the GTG already introduced changes in the final designs and there are some serious improvements in the gear now being sold. It is available in different colors and camouflage patterns. 1 Inner soft belt tucked in the pant's loops and to attach the main belt direc- tly to it. It is made from wide soft webbing and lined with Velcro loop. The closure is a simple plastic loop. Very soft and lightwe- ight. 2 Outer belt or the main belt. Thick two-layer webbing construction with ad- ditional stiffener sewn inside. MOLLE slots on the outside, but not from the standard 1" webbing, but from trim webbing for lighter weight. One of my favorite main belts, but it can be only worn in conjunction with the inner soft belt, due the Velcro hook on the bottom. Except the discomfort, it will be also unstable. 3 GTG Fast Pistol speed reload pistol magazine pouch. Pic- tured is the early mode with MOLLE/PALS attachment, which was recently improved, as the single vertical attachment straps tended to curl and move inside the attachment loop on the belt. The va- riant with Velcro One-Wrap was introduced for greater stability, but the improved MOLLE/PALS version will be also sold. 4 GTG Fast Rifle speed reload magazine pouch. Low profile magazines designed for ultra-fast magazine drawing (re-inserting takes some more time). Lightweight and very simple. 5 Dump pouch. I use it for empty magazines and for all the items I need on shooting range, such as tacker and tacks, marker pens, etc. A great piece of gear from GTG with reinforcement sewn 1 3 4 5 9 10 11 8 www.fragoutmag.com
