The low-profile frame works good with caps or helmets. It also works perfectly with any type of weapon sights. The TR90 en- sures that the eyewear will remain undamaged when worn or transported. It will resist even a brutal treatment (I put my ey- ewear into the sack and inside the lid of my backpack; then, I usually forget about it). The lenses do not distort the image. I own the polarized gray version. It means that the lenses have a darker top and the closer to the bottom, the brighter they are. The idea is cool (it protects the eyes against light shining directly from above, like in glasses for cyclist), but the user must get used to it. When you look at something in the „normal" way, you see that object through the much darker top and central part of the lens. If we want to look through the brighter part, we must slightly raise our head and look downwards (just like in the case of progressive lenses). Polarity works perfectly but the user must get used to it. In general, it eliminates shimmers of light (caused by water, glass, shiny surfaces, etc.), which improves conditions of observation, but also result in strange effects when you look at LCD screens. The lenses also cause a strong tinting effect in case of color screens in cars. All you need to do is to turn your head a bit and the image will bet brighter. The lenses are resistant to fogging, but it is the standard in the Edge products (I wonder what is their secret souce), regardless whether you do some physical exercises, sweat, or enter a he- ated room when there is a chilly outside. Even in case of fogging, it will disappear immediately, without the need of wiping them. Cleaning of the lenses is easy, they are also resistant to scratches and to flaking of the protective layer. www.fragoutmag.com
