The next step is training concerning emergency situations, while the student is suspended on a training parachute harness. Basically, all has already been told on that matter, during the theoretical part, but there is one thing difficult to be trained by theoretical means. People are not aware of how difficult it sometimes is to detach the main canopy and immediately open the auxiliary one. In critical situations, people usually forget about the elements of the parachute harness, so it is worthwhile to learn about the mechanism by heart: I hold the grip for the release of the main canopy, I move my sight to the grip of the „auxiliary", I pull the grip downwards, until my hands are straighten up, and only then I release the auxiliary in the same way I use in case of the main canopy. It is probably the most difficult thing to memorize when we are hanging around in the harness. If we intend to continue our journey with parachuting and sky-diving in the future, it is worthwhile to train the correct separation from the plane at the very beginning. In the case of a line jump, there are two methods – the correct one and the one for those who only want to complete the course and tick parachute jumps on their list. The proper method is to jump out of the plane in a way that your position is as flat as possible just after the jump. A small reminder here – a flat position does not stand for the same position we have when we lie flat on the ground. Initially, it looks more like the exercise of doing a „cradle", with slightly bent elbows and knees. The more symmetrical the position, the more stable will our fall be, without rotating or flipping. Thanks to that, gusts of wing properly position the jumper's body and prepare him or her for independent opening of the parachute, without the risk of opening the parachute in an incorrect position, e.g. while you are on your back or spinning. Of course, there is no free fall in the case of line jumps, so it is only to lower the risk of undesired situations such as entanglement of parachute cords (the so-called twist) and to train the correct jumping technique. The second method is „cannonball". The position does not differ from the standard cannonball jump into water, when you keep your legs together and your hands AVIATION
