FIRSTSPEAR T he US-based FirstSpear is introducing a bunch of new products every year. Mostly it was load bearing equipment of all kinds, but FS is also heavily involved in "soft" products. In 2017, they added a line up of gloves: Operator Contact Glove (OCG), Operator Inner Glove (OIG) and Operator Outer Glove (OOG). That series became bedrock for the F Merino Wool FirstSpear Operator Glove recently adopted as a USSOCOM shooting glove. There were also thick outer- shells (or mitts) to use during the fast roping. PRINCETON TEC T he new Vizz headlight is the 2018 addition to Princeton Tec MPLS lighting system. 420 lumens output, compact sized and triple AAA batteries powered. The Vizz has four dif- ferent LEDs in one case: white, blue, red, green and infrared one. The launching sequence might be programmed individually. Vizz can be attached to the helmet shroud, to MOLLE/ PALS webbing or on the headband. HELIKON-TEX A nother Polish brand, 35 years now on the market. Congrats! Some new products and even whole new line up were introduced during the IWA 2018. MUNKEES M unkees is a company specialized in production and distribution of EDC items. They offer flashlight, cups, bottles, forks and knives, tools, etc. The coolest thing on their booth was the foldable grills (or barbecues). From pocket-sized to a family-sized ones.
