In May, the RDAF will hand over their responsibilities to the Spain (Eurofighter
Typhoon), the Portugal (F-16A MLU), and the France (Mirage 2000 from Ämari)
– so the BAP mission will be augmented once again. The reasons behind such
a decision are not made public, so it's hard to guess whether the actual cause is the
increased activity in 2017 or some other factors expected of 2018.
