exter's family of prototype wheeled vehicles for French Army Scorpion modernization program. First is EBRC Jaguar (Engin Blin-
dé de Reconnaissance et de Combat) 6x6 reconnaissance vehicle designed as a replacement for AMX-10RC 6x6 and ERC-90S
6x6 in cavalry and recce units and a replacement for VAB 6x6 based VCAC Mephisto anti-tank vehicle. The vehicle will utilize Renault
Truck Defence (now Arquus) 6x6 STANAG 4569 Level 4/4A chassis. Two-men crew Nexter CTAS (Cased Telescope Armament Sys-
tem) turret is armed with 40 mm CTC automatic cannon. Jaguar will also have two double MBDA MMP (Missile Moyenne Portée)
missile launchers. GVWR will be around 25 t.
GRIFFON 6X6
N
exter Griffon 6x6 infantry fighting vehicle also utilizes Aquus chassis.
Griffon will be available in 11 versions, including APC, command post,
reconnaissance vehicle or MEDEVAC.
