of competing MRDS products; open tops.
Aimpoint engineered the ACRO from the
ground up as a pistol sight and says the
fully enclosed sight is more durable than
open systems, citing a 20,000 round dura-
bility test using a .40 cal pistol. The ACET
technology allows for 50,000h operation.
