The construction works on prototype vessel
were started in November 2017. Contract for the
230M PLN (approx. 61M USD) was finally award-
ed in June 2017 after the six month long bureau-
cracy battle. New tugboats are scheduled to be
delivered in 2019-2020 and will provide combat
and logistical support in coastal and maritime ar-
eas, support maritime search and rescue opera-
tions, conduct cargo missions, decontamination
and serve as torpedo trials crafts. Vessels will
replace other tugboats and some other auxiliary
crafts, such as K-8 torpedo trials craft. The ORP
Bolko ship sponsor was Mrs. Honorata Hyżyk,
director of No.2 Elementary School in Leszno.
The prototype H-11 craft will be delivered in 2019
and another five in 2020. Currently in Remon-
