likely target Warsaw, where the seat of the government, main editorial offices, embassies and other facilities are found. Meanwhile we can never be sure if a per- son exposed to a radical ideology, becom- ing ready to commit an act of violence in its name, doesn't live in some larger or smaller city or town. Both capitals of provinces and some smaller cities or towns can feature some easily available targets. For instance, if a self-taught jihadist from a city located in western Poland wishes to take revenge for the participation of Polish soldiers in the IMCTC, he doesn't have to go to Warsaw to blow himself up in front of the minis- try. Unfortunately, he may try to attack soldiers from a nearby military base, either by selecting them consciously or by attacking a place where they may be present with their families – a shopping mall, for example. Such a scenario may seem rather unlikely to happen, but it still is possible. On top of that there are other ongoing conflicts and the emotions they stir, which may result in other cri- ses. All these problems have their effect on the potential the Polish counter-ter- rorist system needs to have, which will be discussed in the next article. ANALYSIS
