By Rabbit's eye Very lightweight. breathable and prac- tical "mid-profile trousers. No, you won't be a "grey man" in those as everyone who is slightly familiar with tactical stuff will notice them ( e s - pecially in light colors). But if you don't want to blend into the crowd but more than that you value comfort and practical features – these trousers are for you. Loose cut with elastic fabric and gusseted crotch makes it different to imagine a situation in which these trousers will limit mobility of the wearer – maybe Van Damme would have a problem but not a regular guy. Regarding the cut, I have similar opinion as my friends – slightly too wide pant legs. It is not because I like skinny cut trou- sers and such but for me they are too loose and when they look good with Lowa Zephyr boots, they will not look good with Lowa Innox or Meindl Equator. Protective inserts pockets. I will not use them because when I go to the range and I know I will take a knee, will take my knee pads as well. Flexible waist has an advan- tage in one more area than driving a car. If you carry something IWB you do not have to buy oversized pants. What I do not like of it is a way of closing them. I would prefer a button as a main one and a metal snap as a sec- ondary and here it is precisely the other way and I can't get used to it. Moreover, there are too many belt loops – one less and it would be better as for now they are too close to each other and collide with some holsters and how to place them on waist. Width of loops is just great, they will fit a different type of belts. Pockets, as for me, they are fine but I have sim- ilar feedback about the back pockets. I have a feeling (and for now just it as nothing happened so far) that whatever I have in them will fall out. And it is uncool… Rest of the pockets are fine. To be honest, I didn't use them as magazine pouch- es and such but I value those organizers in cargo pockets as I like to have my smartphone there or my papers. Front pockets – nothing fancy, good to carry a multitool or folder knife as pocket clips work surprisingly well with them, even with that opening in cargo pockets' flap top stitching. Mine pants are Khaki, so light and most vulnerable to get- ting dirty. So far, happily (after 2 or 3 times I washed them) the coating is still working and trousers are getting dirty noticeably slower but let's be honest, there are no miracles. Color is still the same as it was. Overall quality – no objections, really good. One of the better trousers I have had so far. Fabric despite its lightweight and breathability is surprisingly durable, but it cannot be compared to typical uniform fabric but hey, the purpose of both I totally different. Every day carry trousers worth recommending as long as you don't need to blend in. They are worth it. www.fragoutmag.com
