EOTECH Top holographic sights manufacturer, the EOTech presented it's Vudu 5-25x50 variable power scope advertised as a shortest in its class and some new holo sights with green reticles. According to information provided, the green reticle has four times better performance than red reticle and some of people will see green color better than red. Soon we will be able to confirm that. EOTech unveiled also a simple 502 holo sight which will be smaller and simplified version of 552, without the aluminum hood. It will be also way cheaper. STEINER Future is here! Steiner CQT (Close Quarters Thermal Sight) is this type of device you never heard before. CQT combines red dot sight with thermal sight working in two modes: full and contour. It can work as standard red dot or with thermal overlay in window. The heated object will be highli- ghted in green color. The CQT works in similar way as the COTI thermal clip-ons for night vision goggles, creating the fusion effect. But the CQT works day and night! Size-wise, the CQT is similar to old EOTech holosights with double CR123 battery compartment added to the side or Israeli MOR sight. It's not small (135 x 55 x 75 mm) or lightweight (450 grams), but it's first of its kind and combines red dot and thermal sight. Unique product for customer with unique requirements. And wealthy one as the price is around $9000. www.fragoutmag.com
