FN 509 sor what might not suit everybody, but I like that solution that allows for "co-witness with red dot". Front sight has slightly oversized tritium dot, in comparison to rear si- ght. Width of rear sight allows to easy align the sights with pretty narrow front sight (that means a front sight has a lots of light at the sides inside the rear sight) – this is also good. First impression after taking FN 509 to hands was its similarity to HK SFP-9/VP-9. Nevertheless, 509 has better ergonomics and all le- vers are located more conveniently. Large trigger guard allows for easy work on the trigger wearing gloves, I have big palms so in every Glock that I owned, I had to enlarge the trigger guard from the inside. FN 509 Tactical My impressions after initial firing from FN 509 are very good, as much as I do not favor big handguns. . Thank you to Semper Fi for sharing the weapon.
