MARCELLUS SAYS I've decided to choose Courier 15 as a replacement for my old Mystery Ranch Outsider messenger bag. For years I was using this type of bags as my mobile office during travelling and to keep some necessities when all the other stuff was put to the main pack. When weather is good enough, I carry bag on my everyday home-office-home way. I've put my money on Courier 15 when first sneak peeks appeared. Before purchase I've wanted to plan my load out to take advantage of side zippers. Personally, I think that carrying gun in that way is not practical, but side zips allow to reach the personal items carried. It the Courier 15 a waterproof bag? In normal use, definitely! Just don't think about it as drybag. In pouring rain or heavy snow fall, I haven't noticed any leaks or anything like that. Seams are sealed and even the main zipper is not even splash proof, it is well protected with top flap. The front pockets is smart. It has a keyring inside and waterproof YKK zipper closure. The top flap is well made and designed to protect the bag against the elements, no matter if bag is empty or full. Adjustable buckles allow to roll the jacket and keep it just under the flap. On the body side, bag is just plain main fabric without any mesh or spacer fabric. Increase sweating in this area is the cost you have to pay for minimalistic design and 100% water resistance. Shoulder strap is comfortable. Main strap might be configured for left and right-hand use. Important part of carrying EQUIPMENT
