TRIJICON Trijicon jumped on the green reticle bandwagon and introduced the MRO Green Dot. Also, improved RMR MRDS family in different va- riants was shown. The 3.25 MOA RMR Type 2 was in 2018 selected by USSOCOM as MAS-D HRS sight for issued Glock 19 pistols. One thing we missed; the latest SRO was announced couple weeks after the IWA. CLOUD DEFENSIVE Cloud Defensive developed the OWL (Optimized Weapon Light) a dedicated weaponlight integrated with Picatinny rail mount. The way the OWL attach to the long gun is similar to the BE Meyers MAWL laser pointer. It clamps to the top rail and mounts offset, on 1 o'clock or 11 o'clock position. OWL might be easily converted for left or right-side use – just remove the head and battery cap from the body and change them. The aircraft-grade aluminum body is rugged and solid. The output of white light is 50,000 candela and 1250 lumens. HOLOSUN Another sights manufacturer, Holosun, released new red dots from Elite series featuring the reticles in amber color. One of them is HE509T MRDS. Company rep claimed that amber reticle is even better than green on, so maybe it will be the Holosun who started a revolution? Will see. The HE509T features solar panel on the top of the body working as a supplement for battery and responsible for automatic adjustment of the reticle brightness. Larger HS512 shared same technology.
