Out! Magazine, but this German footwear manufacturer had also a winter version of
Renegades displayed. It features cold-weather lining, dedicated GORE-TEX membrane
and re-designed Vibram outersole with anti-slip Arctic Grip technology for improved trac-
tion even on ice.
HELIKON
The rapidly growing Helikon-Tex from Poland had multiple new pro-
ducts available on their huge stand. The products are now divided
into separate line ups featuring numbers of designs. From our po-
int of view, the most interesting are Range, Urban, Bushcraft and
Outback. The designs, quality and craftmanship of Helikon products
has hugely improved in past couple of years. In the past they were
doing almost only copies and surplus stuff, now they are leading the
ways!
