2018 Polish Służba Więzienna (Correction Department) ordered 350 pieces that were delivered in 2019. Rifles are delivered in the set with two magazines, weapon sling and cleaning kit. In January 2019 Romania announced that ARX 160 A3 will replace locally manu- factured 7.62 PM md. 63 and PM md. 65 rifles (AKM/AKMS clones known as AIM/AIMS) and 5.45 PM md. 86 (AIMS-74, what basically was Romanian answer for AK-74 as they decided not to buy Soviet rifles but to redesign AIM/AIMS on their own). ARX 160 A3 will be man- ufactured locally since Fall 2019 in Uzine Plopeni plant. There are two more designs by Be- retta based on ARX 160. The ARX 100 is a civilian-legal semi-auto- matic variant. The .308 ARX 200 was un- veiled in 2015 and it is offered for Italian military in two versions. First is select-fire battle rifle with foldable stock and seconds is semi-automatic only, fixed stock DMR/ precision rifle. SIGN ARX 160 is short-stroke gas piston rifle. What's interesting that movement of the pis- ton reaches 50 mm. Usually that distance is much shorter.
