Polish GROM Special Missions Unit since recently are using new load bearing kit from Direct
Action, including plate carrier, battle belt with suspenders and multiple pockets and pouches.
GROM is named in the honor of the Silent Unseen (Polish: Cichociemni) of the Home Army
of Second World War, special operatives parachuted to German-occupied Poland to support
Armia Krajowa in combat. Some of Direct Action gear is named after the WW2-era planes,
which were operated by Polish Airmen,
