The charging port can be used to attach the RPL-7 re- mote switch to convert for easy use with long guns. Weaponlight has dual mode CREE XHP35 HI LED with 1500 lumens power or 19,600 candelas output. The hotspot is a neutral white tint whilst the corona has a slight yellowish green tint; and the spill having a neutral white tin, but this is not noticeable in real life use. The LED is placed inside the bezel covered with tempered window and sealed with O-ring. There are also serrations around the edge of the bezel. PL-PRO has lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum body and bezel and it is IPX6 compliant. Light is one-meter drop tested. In the rear part of the weaponlight there are two control buttons on both sides. Buttons are polymer. Holding either switch activates Momentary Mode (Low or High, what- ever was last mode used), holding both switches simultane- ously turns on Strobe Mode, single click activates Constant Mode, two clicks turn on Constant High. When High Mode is on, the output is 1500 lumens. Low Mode is 600 lumens. The electronic circuit allows to use 1500 lumens only for 1.5 minute, then output is reduced to 600 lumens, so the light can cool down. Then, High Mode can be activated again. After 35 minutes of use, the output is reduced to 300 lumens. The change of the output comes without warning signs. The PL-PRO might be activated from Off to Low Mode and in this mode it can run for about 90 minutes. The new mode is LOCKOUT, activated by clicking and holding of one but- ton and then holding the second button about one second later. Then, the buttons must be pressed down until the light turns off. This activates 100 lumens Momentary Mode only. The LOCKOUT mode is de-activated by pressing and holding both buttons. The maximum throw is 280 meters. The Olight PL-PRO comes with integrated rail mount in the top of the body. The mount is quick-detachable and has side- lever. There is also adapter key for MIL-STD-1913 and Glock www.fragoutmag.com
