THE RANGE IS HOT! We had a chance to play with two Kel-Tec shotguns, KSG and KSG 25. They are really futuristic. KSG 25 is looking as sci-fi version of FG-42 or L86A2 LSW. The weight of empty gun is basically same as in the Moss- berg M590A1 or similar shotguns. But if you load them up, you will feel the difference. KSG25 and Brenneke slugs? It will require some lifting, dude. Both shotguns are super-balanced. Shotguns are ergonomically designed; the only flaw is the cross-bolt safety switch as it requires to change the grip. Guns are wieldy and quickly employable, the forend is located conve- niently and will work for most of the shooters. The action bar lock is very easy to reach as it was placed in front of trigger guard. The magazine selector switch is placed in the ejection port, so it can't be activated accidently, but it requires some training as you need to get used to it. There is no such thing in other shotguns. Trigger is no different than in other shotguns. It is quite easy to load the magazines. The ejection/loading port is twice the size of typical one and the follower won't hurt your fingers. There is not much of tension on the spring. There are three small windows between the receiver and forend for quick determination of approximate number of rounds rema- ining. FIREARMS
