PREVIEW We have been able to put some rounds downrange with the new shiny 502-0 HWS. Of course, we are going to use it more extensively but to this moment we have found no issues. Some of us use EOTech XPS and EXPS holosights, some where also using the older 552s. From the competition shooters point of view, there is not much difference between new "budget" sight and the "duty" ones. The main difference is polymer body which will be less resistant to potential damages. If you are not throwing your long gun on purpose, the 502-0 will serve you well. We had EXPS mounted on the rifle which was knocked over when placed on the rack and the only sign of hit was a small ding on the hood. With heavier weapon and polymer body, the 502-0 might be not so lucky. Operating the 502-0 as easy and intuitive as in 512, 552 or XPS. The reticle is adjusted in the very same way, except the screws are not protected by the hood. Well, it is hard to over-tighten them, but who knows what can happen. The 502-0 is marketed for competition shooters and hunters who need reliable sight for quick aiming and wide field of view. It's completely not tactical sight because decreased reliability of polymer body. Will it be a successful holographic sight as legacy models? If the final price will be attractive to the customer, it might have great sales potential. We will see in the future. ACCESSORIES
