Mosquito Belt Sleeve with Y-harness and Mustang gun belt were configured with (left to right) two Speed Reload Pouches Pistol, single Speed Reload Pouch Rifle, single Tac Reload Pouch Rifle, Med Pouch Vertical (IFAK), single Tac Reload Pouch Pistol, holster and Flashbang Pouch (as tourniquet carrier). SPITFIRE MK I PLATE CARRIER Direct Action Spitfire Mk I plate car- rier seems to be the best plate carrier available. It's not too bulky or overengi- neered (Spitfire Mk II is more stream- lined and more modular). Seems to be a reasonable balance between weight, modularity and usability. Top notch materials, like 500D Cordura laser-cut laminate and craftsmanship should be mentioned too. Ballistic plate pockets on front and rear panels have bottom access and stretch fabric on the inside, so fitting plates is pretty easy. Stretch fabric in- creases wearing comfort and improves airflow under the carrier. For more com- fort use, additional "pontoon" comfort pads might be attached for use in hot environments. The weight is equally distributed on shoulders, no pitching or Our kit included legacy Spitfire plate carrier in base variant with wide modu- lar cummerbund, Mosquito belt sleeve with Y-harness and Mustang gun belt, assault back panel, IFAK, magazine pouches and some pockets. Spitfire was set up with three Speed Reload Pouches Rifle on front flap, Speed Reload Pouch Pistol on the left and Flashbang Pouch on the left. As- sault back panel with three top flash- bang or magazine pockets and bottom cargo pocket was attached to the rear. Under the left side of cummerbund, the Radio Comms Wing was attached. www.fragoutmag.com
