Legacy SFU NEXT vs. SFU NEXT Mk2 (By Boro) There are multiple changes incorporated into the design of the new generation of SFU NEXT pants. Here's the list: D-rings in first gen belt loops were removed. Mk2 has only loops left in two of the front belt loops. Slash pockets no longer have the reinforced edge which prevented from knife clip abrasion Totally redesigned crotch area. Instead of the typical connection of two legs, the gusseted crotch was implemented. This improves durability when climbing obstacles. The front thigh pockets (phone/magazines ones) are slightly more narrow but deeper now. It increases the stability of carried items and provides additional prevention against falling out. Redesigned cargo pockets. The new pattern has a differently shaped flap with the front part permanently attached to the pants. Two wide parts of hook & loop and button were replaced with a single hook & loop in the rear. The flap has a canted edge and webbing grip tab in the rear. The pocket itself was also re-shaped. It is now single-ply instead of 2-ply for easier manufacturing. Unfortunately, cargo pockets lack internal flat pockets for storage and rubber bands/loops. Knee pads pockets were improved. The overall shape was changed and now the knee area is articulated. Right leg calf pocket (for TQ or cigs) was removed. Leg cuffs have integral drawstrings for blousing. 500 000 pairs of SFU Pants would've exceed the demands of the Vietnam (480 000 soldiers) 500 000 pairs of SFU Pants weights around 400 tonnes, quite close to the weight of 13 American M4 Sherman tanks We used 1,78 km of square textile for this, as much as half of Central Park in NY We've sold 500 000 p a i r s o f S F U P a n t s 500 000 pairs of SFU Pants weights around 400 tonnes, quite close to the weight of 13 American M4 Sherman tanks We've sold 500 000 p a i r s o f S F U P a n t s 500 000 pairs of SFU Pants would've exceed the demands of the Vietnam Army (480 000 soldiers) 500 000 pairs of SFU Pants weights around 400 tonnes, quite close to the weight of 13 American M4 Sherman tanks We used 1,78 km of square textile for this, as much as half of Central Park in NY We've sold 500 000 p a i r s o f S F U P a n t s 500 000 pairs of SFU Pants would've exceed the demands of the Vietnam Army (480 000 soldiers) 500 000 pairs of SFU Pants We've sold 500 000 p a i r s o f S F U P a n t s CLOTHING
