BWP ASCOD parameters (vehicle speed, vehicle inclination and bank angles, and so on) are automatically downloaded into the Elbit Landsadot Mk 2 system. One of the six programmed ballistic properties sets is also selected automatically, for the given type of ammunition. However, a major portion of parameters is a subject to a manual set up procedure, before the fight. These include the wind-speed, temperature, altitude above the sea level, temperature of the rounds, and so on. The above means that the accuracy may be lower in variable weather conditions. The gunner uses a Elbit DNRS monocular periscope day-night sight. The daytime optics have a fixed magnification of 8x, while the night system uses an Elop thermal imaging system offering two fields of view - narrow (8.4x) and wide (2.3x). 2.3x2.3 meter target is to be identifiable at a distance of 1 kilometer, while detection is expected to be possible at a distance of 8 kilometers. However, the performance figures listed above should be interpreted with a certain degree of caution. There is functionality provided, to display the thermal imaging system feed on a separate display. DNRS also features a laser range-finder that can execute up to 8 measurements per ANALYSIS
