Even today, five months from the moment when the acquisition
agreement has been signed, the matter of righteousness of
this procurement cyclically resurfaces in the public sphere
and is discussed by both proponents and opponents of the
decision. The aforesaid status of the matter has, certainly,
been influenced by two events/circumstances: the COVID-19
pandemic that has been going on for a few months now, as well
as the Presidential election in Poland. The Polish presidential
candidates and their staff were competing in making
comments on the acquisition. The opinions varied here. Some
refer to the F-35 as a "super-weapon" that would automatically
