Poland would also receive a single spare Pratt & Whitney F135-PW-100 engine. The "training element" is to take on a form of training involving 24 pilots in the US (with some to gain instructor credentials). Training for 90 members of the ground crew is also expected to be organized. The second half of the pilots and ground crews would be trained in Poland, domestically, based on the knowledge of the instructors and the infrastructure and assets acquired for the Air Force Academy. The training potential that Poland already has (turboprop PZL-130 Orlik TC-II and Master jet trainers) would be boosted by eight mission simulators that are going to be used to conduct tactical training of the pilots primarily.
