be remembered that marketing or promotional activities are planned in advance, and they are of different nature, also determined by the specificity of a medium used. Hence, even state institutions more and more frequently allow themselves to publish „lighter" content - for example in the form of a joke or an ironic comment. However, to continue such communication could bring huge reputational damage. This could happen in the most trivial way, such as a missed post, publication of which was scheduled in advance. You should stop all communication for a time being and, despite the pressure, plan further actions. To escape the current pandemic for a moment, let's choose another scenario - for example a shooting in a center of a large city, where perpetrators used firearms, grenades and during which accidental witnesses and one of the police officers died. For the sake of this scenario, let's assume that the pursuit of the perpetrators is only just beginning. Disclaimer: scenario is based on Polish law and conditions. As a rule, in such situations initially not much is known - just that something has happened. Queries will multiply. The news about the event will spread quickly through various channels. Facebook, Twitter and other social media will be cluttered with messages from witnesses or people who were at least nearby. Certainly, someone will give in-formation about people who seemed to be the perpetrators and this information will be widely spread. It is important to remember about a few important issues that accompany any event that can be easily photographed and/or recorded and thus made public on social media. Photos and/or recordings are easy to be taken out of context, which is well illustrated by numerous videos from police interventions, most often showing the fragment that fits the pre-set thesis. Photos could be manipulated. The quality of such photos or recordings is often so low that it is difficult to fully assess the situation without a very thorough analysis - and certainly not by someone who will play them on a smartphone in a hurry. This, in turn, means that information chaos can spread quickly on the web. The nature of modern media also contributes to the spread of news. It should be remembered that today the media has become more and more tabloidized. This means that it is often not the reliability of the material that counts, but that it is „clickable". A number of media outlets are no longer editorial offices, whose journalists will carry out at least a cursory research and write one large, but solid material, but are simply content aggregators presenting what someone has already placed on the web, giving
