2. What inspires you to create new figures? The bedrock is the possibility to embed the character in the specific time and location. If there are enough photos of the operator with its gear or with the specific elements of equip- ment used during that particular time, then we start "hoarding part". We are assembling our gear, we are buying the items we don't have, borrowing stuff from current and former GROM operators. The collection is huge because very often we receive single items which are pres- ent in the archive photos. We assumed that for the 30th anniversary of GROM we would build 13 figures. Well, the anniversary was in the mid 2020 and we didn't make it but there is a plan and we are still working on the series. Four fig- ures are now available, another four are in the works. The last five are just concepts currently. We started from GROM but our plans are bigger. We are planning other series too. First figure from the WW2 collection will be, surpris- ingly, a German Fallschirmjager (paratrooper) from the Monte Cassino battle. The next ones are going to be US Paratrooper from Normandy and Polish paratrooper from 1.SBS (Polish air- borne unit formed in England during World War II). The last one is going to be a Cichociemny in parachute equipment. Cichociemni, aka the "Silent Unseen", were elite special-operations paratroopers of the Polish Army in exile, cre- ated in Great Britain during World War II to operate in occupied Poland. Cichociemni Spa- dochroniarze Armii Krajowej are patrons of the GROM so this is pretty obvious why this figure will be a part of the collection. The final series will be modern special forc- es: CAG (Delta Force), SAS, DEVGRU (NSWDG/ SEAL Team 6) but we are also thinking about Eastern countries too. We also plan to recreate SPECIAL FORCES
