SUMMARY
What is my final word on the GROT. It's gre-
at, but I am a fanboy since 10 years (when the
MSBS project was unveiled). Is it a perfect ri-
fle? Definitely not as there is no such rifle at all.
This is why there Mk1, Mk2, A1, A2, A7 suffixes.
There is still a room to improve but it does not
mean that the rifle is bad. There are just tweaks
to be made. The modular design will make it de-
finitely easier. The modularity should be abso-
lutely improved - there should be multiple new
systems detached), remember that all of the
parts are compatible EXCEPT for the gas regu-
lator. The one which comes with a short barrel
has slightly different ports and it will overgas
the rifle with a longer barrel attached. BTW,
the Fabryka Broni should mark the regulators
somehow because the only difference between
them is the size of ports. And note for dummies:
the larger port is not a sling attachment point -
yes, I heard some stories about that.
Regarding the weapon slings, there are six QD
sling attachment points (three per each side):
on the front of the handguard, over the pistol
grip and on the top of the stock butt pad. So
you have multiple options for the 2-/3-point
sling attachment but if that's not enough you
can easily use the M-LOK slots available. The
1-point sling attachment is more tricky as there
is no center sling attachment point as in the AR
upper receiver.
