BORO other thing is waist adjustment. I would just replace these Velcro lined webbing straps and plastic buckles with some flat Velcro adjustment tabs. Shadow Grey color is an excellent choice. Rather discreet, all the pockets and fancy details blend in. Grey is new Black! It washes down like old 100% cotton BDU pants back in the days. Pants will not hold up for years. I give them two-three seasons lifespan but if you will care more, they will last lon- ger. In this class they are pretty durable. For this price tag they are definitely worth it. Generation changes between legacy and current SFU pants are game changing. The gusseted crotch and finally-not- -the-baggy legs dramatically increase the overall comfort of use. Simple flap closure of the thigh pockets for quicker access and the design of the pockets themselves increase the overall aesthetics and the gusseted crotch improves the durability and comfort. The more straight cut of legs and the articulated knees makes the SFU NEXT Mk2 finally not look like the snagging pants of the 1990s gangsta from the hood. What I rather don't like is the lack of any internal organizers as they were in the previous generation. These elastic bands were great for keeping flashlight or mace in place. Now they will just move around inside, so you can keep it there or move to the front pockets sacrificing the comfort. In my opinion, the wa- ist adjustment tabs could be replaced with a piece of stretch fabric or some flexible webbing. The adjustment in SFU NEXT Mk2 is not so "next". It could be replaced with a similar one to the MBDU pants. I think these are simpler and faster to ma- nufacture, so definitely cheaper. The cuffs adjustment could be removed too, I guess no one ever used them. If you need them you could do it on your own or use boot bands. Finally, please don't care about the number of characters used to describe the flaws. SFU NEXT Mk2 have a great cut, are well made and durable but I guess designers had to cut some cor- ners to keep the better price than the UTPs or MBDUs. It is obvious that designers are consistent in their actions and the changes in the cut are well thought out. These are good pants for a great price. CLOTHING
