I have loved the Detection since the day I saw them first.
Mostly because of their uncanny, futuristic design from
old school sci-fi movies. I am old school too, so you
know…
Wiley X sent us a Detection kit a couple of months ago
and since that time these became my favourites. I am
using them on the range every time I go there. I don't
care about my outfit and I don't care if these are non-
-MIL-SPEC. They are safety rated and that's more than
I need.
Why do I love them? The variety of lenses I can choose
from. Purples are the one I use mostly, but I've tested
all of the lenses before. Why the Purples? It seems that
they are the most versatile ones. Protects against the
sun (well, not in the super-shiny summer days, when you
need to wear Smoke ones), increases the clarity and con-
trast and won't cause headaches as the high-contrast
Yellow ones can. Lenses work as described. Choose the
best for you.
