Pilots and requirements One of main recruitment requirement to get to "Small Fleet" are, previously mentioned, economical aspects - pilot who require less from PMAR side will have higher chances than person who need to fly 600h or 800h more in order to reach 1000h level. On the other side, pilot who need only 200h more can may complete the training faster and cheaper. Another preference is a helicopter license - private or ideally commercial, because such person know already how to fly helicopters and makes it pos- sible to continue some part of training on board aircraft. HEMS recruitment process is taking place twice a year - in February and in August, incorporating 8 and 4 pilots, respectively. These "ground" aspects are of course not enough - big role in HEMS plays communication and effective work in a team. "Even if someone is a great champion, he can't be quiet or cheeky - in this work crew and cooperation plays big part. We need amazing people who can work between themselves" stresses Director.
