The main function of the trigger guard is CDI (chicks dig it) factor enhance- ment. Aggressive, futuristic design with undercuts has this sci-fi vibe. I like it. Except for the visual factor, the trigger guard increases the space in the trigger group area making shooting in gloves far easier. The undercuts in the guard allows easier access to the trigger ad- justments screw in match triggers. The DEFTAR trigger guard makes the adjust- ments possible without disassembly. DEFTAR SAFETY SWITCH LEVERS DEFTAR safety switch levers/arms are based on the HERA Arms concept where the locking part is cross shaped and not straight as in most of the safety switches. This means that DEFTAR le- vers won't be compatible with most of the legacy AR-15 safeties but they are definitely a great upgrade for MSBS/ GROT rifles. Sooner or later, the DEFTAR will release the AR-15 variant. There are two safety arms in the kit and both are asymmetrical – short and long. They are also available in straight and in profiled versions. The long arm goes on the weak side and short on the strong side of the gun for fully ambidex- trous use. The shorter arm will not crush your index finger as it usually happens in symmetrical safety switches. The DEFTAR levers are definitely an im- provement over standard ambidextrous safety switches and can be convenient- ly operated with both index trigger and thumb. Levers are machined from aluminium and anodized in Black, Red, Blue or Yel- low. There is also an alternative lever for Chad's. It is based on the straight ver- sion of the lever and resembles the F-fin- ger. The "finger" points to the position of the safety switch (safety on/safety off). It is available only for the "long side" and comes in Black. First products unveiled were trigger guards, safety switches and safety switch levers. New products will join them soon. DEFTAR TRIGGER GUARD DEFTAR trigger guards are made from machined aluminum alloy anodized in Black, Red, Blue and Yellow. They come in wide and narrow versions (or thick and skinny) which have a slightly differ- ent profile. First version was the "thick" one and then, after feedback received from the customers, the company decid- ed to make it thinner. Except the thick- ness, both trigger guards are exactly the same. Trigger guard is attached with three mounting screws that come with the kit. Two are attached on the grip side and the third goes near the magazine well. Screws are fitting the lower receiver holes perfectly. ACCESSORIES
