The trigger is being advertised as a flat- faced one but it seems it is something in-between the flat and standard triggers. Its shape is similar to "flattened V letter". The way the trigger operates is quite origi- nal. It is a two-stage trigger where the first stage of the trigger pull is the striker cock- ing action where the trigger safety latch is disengaged, and striker moves to the rear to its fully cocked position. Trigger takeup is followed by a perceived wall enabling trigger prepping before the shot breaks. The trigger pull is 25N, the travel is 5 mm and reset is just 2 mm. Trigger reset is short and tactile, enabling you to more easily master "skip- ping" the cocking phase and prepping the trigger during recoil for fast and accurate follow up shots. The last one from levers is the disassem- bly lever acting similarly to the one of Glock pistols. To disassemble, the user must move the slide 1 mm to front and then re- move it from the frame. AREX Defense Delta Gen.2 slides are stainless steel and black coated. They fea- ture the modern aggressive design and ser- rations for improved grip during reloads and press checks. In the rear of the slide there is a polymer firing pin plate with anti-glare serrations. There is a small hole in the plate with a red dot marked on the firing pin rear part. If the red dot is visible, it indicates that the gun is cocked and locked. Other features that improve the safety of use is the extractor on the top of the slide. When round is chambered then the extractor pro- trudes slightly above the slide for visual and manual control. Pistols come with high-visibility iron sights (three dots or dot only on front sight). The rear sight features anti-glare cuts and might be used for emergency reloads. Iron sights are dovetail mounted and have the exact dimensions as the SIG Sauer P226/ P320, HS Produkt XDM (Springfield) and FN509, so there are fiber-wire or tritium il- luminated options available. The Optics Ready (OR) slides are factory milled for more and more popular micro red dots. The undercut is compatible with the so- a matter of time when the extend- ed buttons will be released. The slide release lever is flat to prevent catching on clothes when drawing the gun from concealed holster. The lever still remains comfortable to use and the force required to over- come the resistance and release the slide is rational. Just behind the levers there are some slight depres- sions on the slide – if required the gun might be fitted with the optional manual safety switch with the lever placed in that place.
