TRIGGER The flat faced aluminum trigger and proprietary trigger bar feature a smooth 4.5 – 5.0 lbs trigger pull and a crisp, tactile reset. Trigger take-up is slightly reduced without compromising internal safeties. All drop safeties are intact in this duty-pur- posed, carry-safe trigger. COMPATIBILITY The Shadow Systems handguns were designed to be as compatible with Glock pistols as possible. MR920 fits most G19 holsters and DR920/MR920L will fit the G17 ones. All the guns come with two polymer Magpul magazines – 15 rounders for compact and 17 rounders for full-size pistols. INITIAL IMPRESSIONS I was only able to test-fire the MR920L without optics installed. During the shoot- ing I put around 150 rounds downrange. It seems that MR920L shoots as it looks. And it looks fantastic. When compared to the legacy Glock, the handling is impressive. I didn't notice a big difference when compared to customized guns from big brands. Profiled frame and grippy texture make the gun perfectly con- trollable during shooting. The thumb rests are definitely helping here to reduce the muzzle flp. The MR920L comes packed with features which would cost a bit when done by a gun workshop. And your warran- ty won't be void. The backstraps are far more comfort- able than the Glock ones – they are dif- ferently shaped, have great texture and are way easier to replace. We added the optional magwell too (it took us a minute or two) and it was looking as permanently attached. Its flared profile improves speed of reloads and makes the grip more com- fortable, except the shooters with really big palms – magwell makes the MR920 pistol grip a bit shorter and it won't work for you.
