ment of writing, we had the pistols for a couple of weeks already, but when we first went to the range, we had the M sized straps attached (and we thought it was the optimal choice). Guns were kicking so bad because the slim frame was not allowing for the proper grip when shooting – it was our fault. Af- ter a couple of minutes of playing with the straps, we decided to mount the L straps. Now, everything was fine. Or even better due the shape of grip, its texture and thumb rests on the frame that increase the recoil control. The slide serrations greatly improve the grip during reloads and press check. The factory iron sights are correct – crisp and visible. The Delta L OR was assembled with Trijicon RMR sight for increased speed of aiming. Guns are ac- curate straight out of the box – no prob- lems with quick shooting to targets at 20 meters distance. What really helps in quick shooting is trigger – smooth, repeatable shots, very good trigger pull, short reset and almost non-existent overtravel. Awesome factory trigger. The shape of the trigger face is almost flat and is definitely better than the ones found in Glocks or other pistols. Reloads are quick and easy due the flared magwell, it could be slightly more flared though. Double-stack magazines have metal bodies, polymer base pads and red followers for quick identifica- tion. Unfortunately, these are Delta pro- prietary ones. Field stripping is very easy. But not everything was so perfect. The plastic MRDS adapter plates are not the best idea. These are cheap and lightweight (sometimes these adapters are 30 grams) but are plastic and not steel one. The recoil, G-forces on the slide, racking the gun with the MRDS (very common), these can definitely affect the adapters. At this stage ev- erything seems to work as it should and sights are holding the zero but we will see what will happen over time. The other problem is the plastic recoil spring block on the recoil spring rod. It seems to be the worst part of the gun. It is a two-piece part which looks like an FIREARMS
