(1/3 of Odin Mini price...) to make it work. This was definitely caused by MSBS/GROT specific handguard but SCAR, ACR or BREN2 owner may expect similar situation. Odin Mini feels rugged and dura- ble, but definitely these are not the top of the shelf products. But what you pay is what you get and these are more budget weapon lights. Still better than fake Surefires. We expect that Odin Mini will have the same durability as its bigger broth- er – we have been using legacy Odins for a year and they still work. There are some visible signs of use such as carbon residue from the PWS AR-15 gas regulator or some "battle scars" but nothing major. The remote switch is the same and nothing happened to cables or buttons. These were already used in different temperatures and there are no breaks. What we really like is the kit that comes bundled with the Odin Mini so the WML is ready to mount out of the box (if you have a "usual" ri- fle). Everything fits tight and there is wobbling or anything like that. As with other rechargeable lights, some may complain about the power source. It is hard to charge it when in the field, especially for extended time. OK, you can use vehicle power or power bank but it takes time. The CR123s won't fit the Odins so you can't just replace them (and the 18500 is Olight pro- prietary) so the only way is to get a backup rechargeable battery. If this runs down, then you don't have a working flashlight anymore… For law enforcement or sport shooting use that's not a problem. Odin Mini and Odin share the same Olight DNA – they are one of the best bang for a buck lights available. ACCESSORIES
