Ä Two bottom calf pockets closed with Velcroed flap – meant for small items like tour- niquets etc. They are similar to the cargo pockets in terms of construction and the only difference is just a single overlap. With the trousers we get two flexible knee pads mounted in the holes right over the knees – fe- atures copied straight from CP AC/G3 trousers that lack stretchable fabric in place of which is standard fabric used everywhere else in the tro- users. Knee pads are the Chinese copy straight from Aliexpress and with disputable quality as the face part started to fall apart just from laying in the locker… Theoretically knee pads' height can be regulated with elastic rubber strings accessible through the hip pockets but lack of stretchable fabric considerably limits the range of this regulation. Knee pads can be fitted with horizontal Velcro flaps on the inside part of the trousers (knee joint high). If the knee pads aren't used, holes can be covered with a piece of fabric that usually hides in the lower part of the knee pad pocket. In case of AC/G3 trousers it makes sense as it secures quite delicate stretchable ma- terial in this place. In 117/DKWS trousers it is just an extra layer of fabric which additionally com- plicates construction of this part. Leg cuffs can be regulated with Velcro flaps that are placed at the very bottom of each leg. UNIFORMS
