ammunition guides (conduits) work using gravity, in relation to Mk 44 (for the 0 degrees elevation angle). The conduits feature just one smooth curve, hence the diminished risk of malfunction, as opposed to the Hitfist design. Around 300 rounds are available for immediate use (including the quantities in the conduits). More than 200 ABM/ multi-purpose rounds can be stored within the turret. The 30 mm ammunition's performance figures have been outlined in Table 1. Auxiliary armament comes in the form of the 7.62x51 mm UKM- 2000C machine gun, weighing from 10.5 to 13 kilograms (depending on the manufacturing lot). It is a gas-operated weapon. 250 rounds are available for immediate use. Brass and links are extracted via a port in the turret, underneath the container housing the Spike ATGMs. The ATK Mk 44 gun (along with the UKM-2000C coaxial machine gun) has an azimuth movement range of 360 degrees. The elevation range is from -9 to +60 degrees. The anti-tank weapons come in the form of the dual Spike LR ATGM launcher. The Spike LR (in its transport container) is 1,140 mm long, its diameter is 107/131 mm (missile/container), and it weighs 13.7 kilograms. It can be used in temperatures as low as minus 37 degrees Celsius. The seeker features a cooled IR camera, 120x120 resolution, with 10x zoom, as well as CCD 550x400 camera, with 10x magnification, and FOV of 1.5° x 2°. The minimum range is 200 meters, while the maximum range is 4,000 meters. The missile travels to the targets at 1,000; 2,500, and 4,000 meters in, respectively, 7; 5.5, and 26 seconds. The control is either fully autonomous, or it may include the human in the loop - thanks to the optical fiber cable. The guidance is taking place in Fire & Forget mode - then the missile flies towards a target of specific thermal contrast, after manual designation; or in the Fire-observe-and-Update mode - with the human element in the decision-making chain. In the latter case, in an emergency of cable break, the missile automatically goes into the F&F mode. The operator may also utilize a fully manual mode.
