As mentioned, couple of times al- ready, the Bearcat is a minimalistic plate carrier for high-output operations but it still might be configured with other Direct Action accessories too. Running in it with 12 mags, 6 frags, two radios and too much pouches and stuff on such a lightweight carrier is an abomination. This type of plate carrier should be deployed with lightweight ballistic plates because the weight-sav- ings (which are around 150 grams when compared to legacy Spitfire) will be lost. Direct Action Bearcats are proudly made in Poland from genuine fabrics and available in Adaptive Green, Coyote Brown, Ranger Green and Black solid colors and in Crye MultiCam, PenCott Wildwood and M81 Woodland camou- flage patterns tools. There are also some MOLLE slots for additional gear. Ä Assault Panel with zippered utility compartment and three pockets with flaps for magazines or flash- bangs. The flat hydration bladder pocket is also there. Ä Utility Back Panel – detachable panel with two zippered utility pouches (smaller on top and larg- er on the bottom) and hydration bladder pocket. Ä Backpack Panel – detachable backpack with zippered main compartment (around 20 liters ca- pacity), zippered front pocket, two open-top side pockets and full- front MOLLE slots. It does have compression straps on the sides and detachable shoulders straps for stand-alone configuration. minimalistic stand-alone chest rig. Users can also choose Skeletonized Comm Wings for PRC-152/148 sized radio or MOLLE Wings, which attach under the front flap of a vest. Another attachment available is Underpouch Light dangler-style fanny pocket for small items (EOD kit, IFAK, etc.) which attach under the front flap too. As already mentioned, the rear panel features two vertical AVS-compatible zippers. The MOLLE panel for custom pouches might be attached or one of the detachable Direct Action panels available: Ä Breacher Panel with small zip- pered utility compartment in the bottom and four pockets for flash- bangs above.
