NATO, Romanians and Canadians are seeing a lot of posi-
tive aspects with deployments such as this one. Even with
Romanian F-16s performing full Air Policing tasks, NATO
presence will continually be here as additional assets, be-
ing part of NATO Assurance Measures agreement. This
provides additional response to various situations as well
as opportunities for both nations to train and learn togeth-
er. The Royal Canadian Air Force is certain to come back to
Romania or any other NATO country in the future and share
experiences as well as provide additional support to both Air
Policing missions and everyday tasks.
Finishing their deployment at the end of November, RCAF
will return back to Cold Lake, Alberta for winter after many
successful flights. This was definitely an intensive, but
unique mission - for another time it proved how valuable co-
operation between NATO allies is, looking forward to 2022
after another successful year.
