Stock adapters Fabryka Broni also released two fold- ing stock adapters (the adapter already available was fixed for unknown reasons) in "high-ride" and "mid-ride" variants. The "mid-ride" has the stock tube on the very same height as the fixed stock adapter and "high-ride" has a stock axis about 5.5 mm higher, so shooters can use a stock with- out the cheek pieces. Except the axis, there are slight differences between the adapters. Both adapters increase the rifle portabili- ty – guns can fire with stock folded but you must be sure that stock (with cheek piece) does not cover the ejection port. They also increase the stock pull length by a few milli- meters, which is an important factor for taller shooters. Adapters are machined from aircraft grade aluminum (original stocks are polymer with aluminum parts). The force required to fold or unfold the stock is definitely higher but this assures that the stock will not fold by itself. Sure, use of COTS stock will significant- ly impact the aesthetics of the rifle but it is just a tool, ain't it? I have attached the Magpul CTR stock with cheek piece and it matches the rifle really nicely. BTW, the adapters are supplied without buffer tubes or castle nuts, they must be purchased separately. MIL-SPEC tubes are accepted only. My tube is a prototype one supplied by DEFTAR (custom parts manufacturer) with an extended number of positions. More and more add-ons are finally avail- able from Fabryka Broni but we are still waiting for the ultimate package with bull- pup conversion packed in one huge box! www.fragoutmag.com
