The reticle is a 3.5 MOA ultra-crips red dot displayed on the front lens. Optical axis of the reticle center is 14 mm. The glass has almost no blue-ish tint as in some other sights and the reticle has no forward optical signa- ture beyond 10 meters. The viewing window is 16 x 16 mm and has a squ- arish shape with rounded corners. The red dot brightness has a total of 10 settings. The P-1 has six day brightness settings and four night vision compatible settings. The C-1 has eight day settings and two night vision compatible ones. The ACRO P-1 at first sight looks rugged and durable. And so it is. Si- ght is fully sealed, waterproof and dustproof. And here's the difference between P-1 and C-1. The P-1 might be submerged up to 25 meters, and C-1 can dive "only" 10 meters below the surface. Since the P-1 is definitely mentioned for professional use, it has also increased resistance to extreme temperatures from -45C to +71C. Extremes for C-1 are -30C to +60C On the left side of the housing there are two rubberized buttons marked with "+" and "-". They switch the sight on and off and it is either one to turn the sight on; hold the minus button to shut off the dot. It will always switch on in the 7th brightens setting. By short pressing each of the buttons you will adjust brightness. The win- dage and elevation adjustment knobs are located on top and right of the ho- using. Each click is a 17 mm/100 m adjustment. The zeroing tools come with the sight in the box. On the right side there is also a bat- tery tray holding a single CR1025 3V lithium battery which, according to Aimpoint, will provide 1.5 year of con- stant use on 6th brightness setting. There is no auto shut-off. The battery might be easily replaced with a sight mounted to the gun – just unscrew the battery cap with the coin. Battery compartment is also sealed against the elements. window is 16 x 16 mm and has a squarish rounded corners. ACCESSORIES
