Buried in the ground sensor detects and analyzes seismic waves using author's own developed algorithms allowing for the classification of moving objects in two classes – hu- man and vehicles. After obtaining the "detection" status it sends an alarm signal by radio about detection and classification of an intruder along with an indication of the sector in which he appeared. Self-learn- Sectorial Seismic Sensor – SSS A smart, omnidirectional seismic sensor that is buried in the ground at the boundaries of a protected area. The SSG detects seismic waves allowing for the classification of the threat present. All signals are compared against a database of potential vehicles, objects and living species. However, the SSG transmits only information regarding potential threats as human or vehicular activity. False alarms are not transmitted by SSG, allowing for a very long battery life for each unit from 3 months up to 4 years. Human detection is possible within a 100 m radius from each installed SSG.
