The rear part of the receiver is the
stock adapter and buffer tube at-
tachment. Due the short-stroke
piston and bolt carrier group with
recoil spring completely encased
inside the receiver the tube is only
used for stock attachment. The
stock adapter allows for folding
the stock on the right side of the
rifle. MWS rifles may fire with stock
folded. All AR-style stocks are com-
patible. Rifles were fitted with com-
mercially available triggers, from
TriggerTech and JP Firearms, but
the final rifles might be delivered
with other triggers.
Another common feature of the
MWS rifles is the AR-15 parts inter-
changeability.
