WINDRUNNER
Windrunner is a windbreaker
or a windshirt. It's a very light-
weight, extremely packable
jacket that's a and that's it's
main feature. You can just put
it in your bag or even the cargo
pockets of your pants just in
case you might need an extra
layer of protection.
Ultralight, tight-woven micro=
ripstop nylon fabric protects
from the wind, and if the DWR
coating is regularly maintained,
also from light rain. Windrunner
would also be an ideal garment
for running. Mesh ventilation
slats in armpits allow air circu-
lation. On a cooler day, worn on
top of a fleece, keeps the body
warmth from escaping and pro-
tects against wind chilling.
Large channel pocket would
accommodate a cap, gloves or
a buff. Two small flat pockets
inside the large pocket would
help to organize small items like
a smartphone or cards holder.
We've already used Windurn-
ners for some time and need
to admit that it's a really cool,
functional piece of kit for sud-
den change of the weather. It is
a perfect windbreaker. Minimal-
istic, but ergonomic cut and flat
seams hey work great during
riding a bike, trekking, but also
at the shooting range (even
with a chest rig worn on a it) or
in everyday use
The length of the jacket is just
right, protects the kidneys, does
not pull up during activities, and
at the same time no problem
getting in the car and "sitting
on" clothes, and then a fight for
comfortable position. Windrun-
ner On a cooler, windy day, no
rather, he has concerns about
sweating.
