SCHUBERTH
German ballistic helmets manufacturer SCHUBERTH unveiled a first helmet built according to the
B.Ko.S (Ballistiches Kopfschutz System) ballistic head protection system. Their BKOS concept focuses
on improved comfort, protection, and maintainability. New technology of manufacturing also allows
the helmet to be scalable in terms of different shapes and sizes to accommodate the various head
shapes but also increased protection depending on what the needs are. It also features modular side
rails (power cords can be routed through them) and even a rear rail for accessories attachment - this
can be utilized to accommodate battery packs to increase power supply security, while at the same
time ensuring an optimal balance of the helmet on the head. The helmet features a unique liner system
that increases comfort and blunt trauma protection. Unfortunately, during the show we were not able
to take pictures of it.
