LOWA Famous German footwear manufacturer unveiled a couple of new products for 2022. One of the most important additions is the revamped version of the "cool guy combat footwear", LOWA Task Force Zephyr. The legacy model has been available for a dozen years now and it was slightly redesigned. The Zephyr Mk2 has a more aggressive (angular) design with thread moved from the front of the boot to the rear to improve durability, but the main change is the totally new X-TRAC outsole, even more slip resistant than the previously used CROSS one. Another change, maybe not so important from the end user point of view is the EN ISO 20347:2012 standard certification as an Occupational Footwear as some "corporate" customers were insisting to make tactical boots EN compliant. New Zephyr Mk2 looks even cooler than its predecessor and we are waiting for them to show up. Another new footwear is the BREACHER series we can call the next generation of the classic ELITE series (Elite Desert, Elite Jungle and Elite Mountain), so think about them as fully fledged combat boots for different environ- ments. Breacher boots will be available in a number of variants such as Full Grain Leather, Nubuck or Suede. They will be available in multiple colors and in GTX and non-GTX lined variants. All Breachers share the Vibram Vanguard outsole and EN ISO 20347:2012 standard certification. REPORT
